The intervention for new Passenger Terminal consists in the increase of spaces of the halls for boarding and disembarking operations, and the addition of 4 new boarding bridges.

The expansion affects the air-side of the airport, with two new wings acting as a continuous extension of the existing building, prolonging the halls and the existing routes, over 23,920 m2.

The marked and rigorous contemporary architecture affects in an evident way the formal characterization of the building, which implies specific construction techniques and materials.
A conference room is located on the top floor of the new building, altogether with executive offices that will replace those currently in use in the existing terminal.

The latter may be used to redistribute operational offices and for shaping additional commercial spaces in the central part of the building.

The new terminal also houses an underground level divided into two macro areas for service facilities, archives and warehouses.
