Milano Centrale covers an area of 220,000 m2 and it is visited by 120 million visitors. It services 600 trains a day, two metro lines, the nearby railway line, it is a terminal of various bus lines and city trams and of airport transfer buses and it is used by more than 320,000 people every day.

The project marks a milestone in the strengthening of regional transport and metro lines and enhances the role of the station as a crossroads of the new high speed line.
Railway station Centrale provides a new direct line to the metro through a moving walkway positioned in Galleria delle Carrozze. There is a modern trade center more than 70 m long in the underground level.

A careful restoration program has given new splendor to the monumental spaces, in particular to the Royal Pavilion and the vaults of the Galleries.
Minor interventions focused on the renewal of the ticket office and baggage room, the recovery of areas in disuse, the reorganization of local roads and parking Taxi.
